The NearMEE is equipped with a torque sensor that differs significantly from traditional speed sensors in that the torque sensor has a much lower impact on the motor, which not only extends the life of the motor but also reduces the rate of motor damage. It maximizes the use of the battery and thus extends the range. The most significant difference is that the torque sensor measures how hard the rider pedals to determine how much power to push into the bike. It makes this adjustment in real-time, giving you complete control over the speed of the e-bike and providing more power and climbing ability, making it a more bike-able experience while riding effortlessly.
